Costain

Costain is an international engineering and construction group with 140 years worth of expertise in delivering high specification, complex engineering projects and construction operations in a variety of sectors including the rail environment.

In addition to its involvement at Gerrards Cross, Costain have worked as part of a consortium with Skanska and Bachy to construct two tunnels which are part of the rail link between the Channel Tunnel in Kent and London.

Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson specialises in the supervision, project management and consultancy of railway-based projects and is very highly regarded within both the construction and the rail industries.

The company has designed and supervised the construction of a number of national and international rail tunnels and has a wealth of experience in the planning, risk analysis, monitoring, design checks, co-ordination and management of large and complex rail projects.

Network Rail

Network Rail is a not-for-profit company that owns and operates Britain’s rail infrastructure. Network Rail is required to approve the methods of construction that will be used in this project. Final approval will only be received once it is absolutely confident that it is safe for building work to start. Once construction resumes, Network Rail will retain a presence on site.
